65-second walkthrough

See the whole RewardLoop journey

From setting up your store and displaying your poster to quick visits, returning customers and clear activity in Data Hub.

Setup first

Start Free shows your plan, launch timing and what happens when you go live.

At the till

App customers scan a short-lived QR, or staff scan a customer's Wallet pass. Both methods update the same RewardLoop account.

Visibility after service

Owners review transactions, charts and suggestions in Data Hub, with richer visibility building as customer activity grows.

Start Free makes setup and launch clear

Setup and Go Live stay separate. When your store, brand and offer details are ready, self-serve setup can take around five minutes. That estimate covers entering your details, not the exact time your store will be published.

What happens before launch

Step 1

Create your account

Choose a plan and use the email you will later use in the owner app.

Step 2

Shape your programme

Add your store, reward and optional Welcome Head Start.

Step 3

Get the included PNG and printable PDF, then refresh it after changes.

Step 4

Review, then go live

Return later and activate only when everything is ready.

No charge while you set up

Your 30-day free trial starts only when you go live. The generated poster is included; human design and printing remain optional.

How Welcome Head Start works with normal loyalty progress

1. The store chooses a safe starting amount

The amount always stays below reward one, so a qualifying purchase is still required before the first reward can unlock.

2. Eligible customers see it before visiting

Eligible app customers with no recorded RewardLoop purchase at that store see the configured progress from the store list onwards.

3. The first purchase continues from there

The purchase is added to the starting progress. After that, customers collect and redeem as normal.

Included in every standard plan. The setting applies across all of a store's branches and can be changed later without altering existing balances.

Customers can scan a poster and choose the RewardLoop app, Apple Wallet or Google Wallet

Customers scan the poster and choose the RewardLoop app or add a pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. They do not need to download RewardLoop to use the pass; the app adds store discovery, visible progress, rewards, suggestions and notifications.

The app makes stores discoverable

Customers who choose the app can find participating stores and move into the relevant store experience.

The app adds more features

Once selected, that store view can become the customer's familiar home for rewards, wallet actions, suggestions and the Visit Store button where configured, so moving from reward tracking to real-world store details still feels smooth.

One account works in Wallet and the app

  • Join in the browser and add a pass straight to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, with no RewardLoop app download required.
  • Use the app for store discovery, visible progress and rewards, suggestions, notifications and a configured Visit Store link.
  • Start with a Wallet pass and sign into the app later with the same RewardLoop account.
  • Present the Wallet pass for staff to scan, or use the app to scan the short-lived collection QR.

Both choices use the same RewardLoop account. Wallet keeps repeat visits simple, while the app is always available for customers who want the extra features.

Day-to-day use stays practical during service

RewardLoop is designed for real counter work. For the app route, staff select the purchase and the customer scans a short-lived QR. For the Wallet route, staff scan the customer's pass first, then RewardLoop shows the relevant purchase or reward action.

The same RewardLoop account keeps loyalty data, QR collections and rewards connected, so staff do not need extra hardware or manual reconciliation.

2 App route

Select the purchase before showing the QR

For app customers, staff choose the count or spend amount first. Visit, drink and meal programmes use count-based entry; spend-led structures use amount entry.

3 Collect progress

Use the app QR or Wallet pass route

These are alternative collection routes. The app route starts with purchase selection; the Wallet route starts by scanning the customer's pass.

One customer record

Either method updates the same customer progress

Both methods update the same loyalty progress. The short-lived QR closes after a successful collection, while the Wallet pass stays available for future visits.

App progress and reminders give customers a reason to come back

After collection, app users can see their updated progress. RewardLoop can automatically remind them when they are close to a reward or when one is ready, helping turn loyalty progress into another visit.

Useful reminders run automatically

App users can receive reminders when they are close to their next reward and when a reward is ready. Wallet-only customers can still collect in store, but need the RewardLoop app to receive these notifications and see live progress.

Staff can confirm rewards at the till

When a reward is available, RewardLoop shows the next action clearly. Staff confirm it after scanning a Wallet pass or receiving a claim from the customer app. RewardLoop deducts that reward's threshold, so any surplus progress can remain towards the next reward.

Customers can use Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or the RewardLoop app

Customers can go straight to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet with no RewardLoop app download required, or choose the app for the richer experience. The same RewardLoop account keeps both choices connected.

The app is the richer experience

The app keeps customer progress, rewards, store discovery, suggestions and notifications in one place.

Wallet works without the RewardLoop app

Customers can add the pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet without downloading RewardLoop. They can still sign into the app later with the same account when they want store discovery, visible progress, rewards, suggestions or notifications.

Owners can review what happened in one clear business dashboard

After service, the Data Hub keeps transactions, charts and anonymous suggestions together so owners can improve their loyalty offer using real activity.

Business dashboard

Keep transactions, customer details and suggestions together

Open a recent transaction, customer details, anonymous feedback and wider performance views without switching between separate tools.

  • Transactions

Review recent loyalty activity and open linked customer detail.

  • Customer detail

Understand progress, reward history and the context behind an interaction.

  • Suggestions

Read anonymous customer suggestions in one organised place.

  • Charts

See range-based performance views and branch comparisons as activity builds.

Charts become more useful as customer activity builds. Growth then adds branch-aware comparisons where that extra visibility genuinely helps.
